Men's Health: Treating Erectile Dysfunction and Sexual Disorders

Erectile difficulties, premature ejaculation and reduced libido are not an "inevitable part of aging" — they are the result of specific, identifiable disturbances in the body that can be found and corrected. Our approach aims to restore a man's own sexual function, without lifelong dependence on stimulants.

Why we don't start with a pill

Sexual stimulants (sildenafil, tadalafil and similar drugs) solve the "here and now" problem but do not address the cause. We view male sexual function as a single copulatory cycle involving four components: vascular, endocrine, neurogenic and psychogenic. A failure in any one of them looks the same — "it doesn't work" — but each is treated differently.

In essence, sexual function is a byproduct of the body's basic functions: quality sleep, healthy blood vessels, normal metabolism and hormonal regulation. That is why our work-up is broader than a standard urology visit.

How diagnosis and treatment proceed

At the first stage, the doctor studies the history, lifestyle, sleep, concomitant conditions and any existing test results in detail; missing tests can be done where the patient lives, from our list. At the second stage an individual program is built: correction of hormonal regulation and metabolism, restoration of the vascular component, regenerative medicine techniques, and, if needed, work on the psychogenic component.

Treatment procedures take place at the clinic in Kyiv. The treatment decision itself can be made remotely, based on tests and examinations completed where the patient lives.

Expected result

Based on the clinic's experience, when recommendations are followed, a 60–70% improvement in sexual function is seen by day 4–5, rising to 80–90% within 1–2 months. The effect lasts at least a year. The goal is a pharmacologically independent (or minimally dependent) harmonious sex life — stopping stimulants or radically reducing the dose.

Questions & Answers

At what age is it "normal" to have erection problems?
At no age. Age increases the likelihood of vascular and hormonal causes, but erectile dysfunction at any age is a reason for examination, not resignation. In fact, weakened erections are often the first sign of cardiovascular problems.
Can I just keep taking Viagra?
Stimulants are acceptable as a temporary solution, but they do not treat the cause and have limitations with certain concomitant conditions. Our goal is to restore your own function so that medication becomes unnecessary or is needed only in a minimal dose.
Do I need to come to the clinic for the work-up?
Not necessarily. Tests from our list can be completed where you live; the treatment decision will be made remotely by the doctor. You come to the clinic only for the procedures.
Is the partner involved in treatment?
If the couple wishes — yes. Sexual harmony is the result of interaction between two people, and in many cases couples counselling speeds up the result.
